IDA –dyslexia help now comes easy

IDA dyslexia stands for International Dyslexia Association for dyslexia. It is one of the biggest and most trusted organizations that help in dealing with dyslexia and related issues. Not only do they aim to provide help to the patients, but they also address the concerns of their families to promote an environment of harmony, and help them lead a more normal life.

Found way back in then year 1949, the community was created with the very sole intention to promote the efforts and take further to complete the mission of Dr. Samuel Orton- which was to help those with the condition and help combat the disorder so that the mankind could be benefited. Needless to say, they announced themselves as a completely non profit organization so that everybody from the rich to the poor could knock their doors for help.

Apart from that they also actively support research and development in this field and come up with new suggestions to help improvise the facilities available to deal with this disability. They also express concern and fight for the rights for those with dyslexia to help them lead a fair life.

Currently IDA –dyslexia functions in a number of countries including not only U.S, but also, Canada, The Philippines, Brazil, Israel and Czech Republic. It is interesting to know that they have diversified their functions through 40 branches, and have about thirteen thousand members, who grow together day by day, fighting one common case that faces them all, i.e., dyslexia.
