What are the different forms of dyslexia?

There are various forms of dyslexia that are discussed hereunder
:
1. Primary dyslexia- This is mainly a sort of genetic problem that causes permanent disability in the cerebral cortex of the brain. Anyone suffering from this condition may not be expected to learn beyond the fourth grade education level.
2. Trauma dyslexia- This is a kind of brain damage that is usually caused either due to brain injury or any kind of trauma that directly affected that section of the brain that helps read and write. However, thankfully the severity of injury required for this kind of disorder should be really huge, which seldom happens. Though otherwise permanent, special kind of education can help one have a more normal life.
3. Development (secondary) dyslexia- This maybe caused due to hormonal or even malnutrition related causes that effects one at the time of their fetal development. Childhood abuse, neglect, or bad nutrition- especially till the age of 5, can also be held responsible for this condition. However, with proper care and effort, the disability can be controlled.

Apart from these there are various other kinds of dyslexia that can be classified on the basis of their effect or, in other words, the functions they disable the most. These include the Phonological (or as they call it- the auditory) dyslexia, Visual dyslexia (effects the visual perception), Dyspraxia (making coordination difficult for the child, making them appear clumsy), Dyscalculia (less common, and a difficult to recognize syndrome that impairs mathematical problem solving abilities) and Dysgraphia (causing difficulty in holding pens and pencils, etc).
