Dyslexia & Clock

Dyslexics find it near to impossible to read the time by looking at clocks that have hands.

1.  When asked the time their reply is often ridiculous like “it’s ten past quarter to”.

2.  They may recount full or half hours like 5.00 or 5.30 but not the smaller bits like 5.12.

3.  They have little or no concepts about before and after a certain hour.

4.  Thus for them time related arithmetic is confusing.

5.  A digital clock will somewhat help them out of this problem.

6.  Dyslexics know what the time is at that particular moment but if you tell them to return home within 15 minutes they cannot figure out what that means.
